Nursing support for mothers whose newborns are admitted to the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) has been a subject of interest in nursing practice. The article by Ong et al. acknowledges salient role nurses supporting unit. While study suggested moderate quality life among mothers, authors emphasised necessity hospital management provide tangible and structured strategies reduce maternal stress. paper describes some existing programs illustrate approaches.
